Virtually every option on a website or app resides under the Menu button or the More button. Referring to the Menu button and the More button as the “hamburger” and “cookie crumbs” respectively will help to make them memorable and allow you to refer to them often.
Try asking students to check the hamburger and cookie crumbs as a first step next time they’re trying to find out how to do something on a website or app.
